The only way to getting better at "doing the stuff" is to start practicing obedience and actually begin "doing the stuff" because Jesus "did the stuff". 
Imitate Jesus.
What if I make a mistake?
You will.
Many times.
Just go back and ask the Teacher (Jesus) why it didn't work.
Be kind, humble and loving to all people.
Minister to everyone who comes to you or who God points out to you.
Don't come across as a obnoxious, "know it all".
Be confident, not arrogant.
Be prepared and don't procrastinate.
Be ready for the times where you can no longer contain the magnificent Presence of the LORD.
Be prepared for Jesus to perform the things only God can express through the impact of His Kingdom to you and through you on Earth as it is in Heaven.
