 Grief does not discriminate. It affects factory workers as much as CEOs. When grief is disenfranchised, the natural withdrawal that accompanies mourning becomes more intense and lasting. This not only erodes performance in the short term but also diminishes commitment and loyalty to the organization in the long term.
