The Paris Diamond League is the home of the world record as Yaroslava Mahuchikh broke the women's high jump world record from 1987 with a leap of 2.10 meters, Faith Kipyegon lowered her women's 1500 meters world record to 3:49.04, as Jess Hull ran an Aussie record of 3:50.83 and Laura Muir a British record of 3:53.79 NR.
The men's 800 was the deepest ever as Djamel Sedjati emerged victorious in a historic race, clocking 1:41.56, followed closely by Emmanuel Wanyonyi and Gabriel Tual, both achieving sub-1:42 times.
We break it all down.
