My homie Rachel dropped in to tell me all about her new job as a mental health nurse. So i decided to put the camera and microphone on and get her talking on the podcast about all things mental health and general wellbeing.
A very insightful conversation which i thoroughly enjoyed.
If you or anyone you know suffers from mental health issues please refer to the details below which have been highly recommended by Rachel:
116 123 - Samaritans -24/7 telephone support if you are feeling overwhelmed, have suicidal thoughts or intentions or just need to talk to someone straight away.
03001233393 - Mind- 9am-6pm Monday to Friday Advice line for information on mental health, medication/other treatments, where to get help and advocacy.
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/stress-anxiety-depression/
NHS Moodzone online portal for help and advice about mood disorders and other mental health concerns.
Also I would just encourage anyone who feels they or a friend may need help to go to their GP who will be able to refer them to local psychological therapies. Also if you need immediate help with your thoughts and feel you might not be able to keep yourself safe call 111 or attend local A&E
