Sometimes we tell a joke as though it's truth, and sometimes we tell truth as though it's all jokes. Is that hypocritical? And why do people say comedians are so honest when we're telling outright lies? What exactly IS the role of the comedian as it relates to telling the truth? This episode is all about the many ways we bend and mix the different kinds of truth to wring laughs out of an audience.
