25. Escaping the Grip of Abuse by Recognizing Different Tactics

In my quest to comprehend the devastating effects of narcissistic abuse, I've discovered two distinct types of abusers with the same goal: controlling and manipulating their victims. In this podcast, I share insights into these abusers' strategies, focusing on their tactics to isolate victims and foster dependency. Financial control is another tool they use to trap victims in a cycle of reliance. 

The abusers create an illusion of care and affection through love-bombing techniques. In some cases, threats and emotional manipulation are used to maintain control. Additionally, I discuss an alternative approach where abusers exploit their victims' resources while claiming helplessness. Throughout the episode, I stress the importance of recognizing one's worth and taking steps toward empowerment and change. Survivors can break free and reclaim their lives by gathering resources, seeking support, and planning for the future.
