“My Journey with Cancer” - Part 2 - with Erin, a patient

Erin lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Erin was suddenly thrust into the medical field when she stood by her mother’s side as her mother passed away from cancer. She, herself, was diagnosed twice with cancer, and then, she stayed by her husband’s side as he went through his own cancer diagnosis. During this episode, Erin talks about her growth throughout these journeys. She talks about how she learned to experience grief and joy at the same time, like getting married to her husband in the hospital while her mother was at her side with a terminal diagnosis. I am so thankful that Erin was willing to talk about her experiences, as a patient and family member. There is so much to learn from her story.
