Lessons Learned: Mark Doherty

Mark Doherty in an investor, trader, and an author.  Mark served four years in the United States Air Force and then graduated from with an Accounting degree from Bradley University in Peoria, IL.  Mark spent time in corporate America as a Controller and Payroll Manager, and was always fascinated with the stock market.  In 2020, Mark learned about LEAPS options and transformed his IRA account from $550k to $1.7M by year’s end.  Since battling rectal cancer at age 48 and again 54, Mark has written two books, the first one entitled “Reset - How beating cancer ended decades of paralyzing fear and anxiety,” and the second called “I’m a Genius…Just ask me!  A Common Man's thoughts on Personal Finance and Investing in the Stock Market.”  Both can be purchased through Kindle.
