Do you find you are overwhelmed by the brokenness of this world? Do you find yourself fearing the destruction that may come upon us? Where do you turn in your fears? Where do you turn to for help? Whom do you cry out to in the midst of your pain?
In this message on Psalm 79, we find where our help truly comes. This psalm teaches us that is right to cry out to God in our pain and sorrow. It also helps us to see that it is wise to ask God questions about things that confuse us and tempt us to doubt. We also learn that is good to pray: passionately, persistently, and specifically. This psalm is also a chance for us to review how loving, gracious, and faithful is our God.
