Don't Go To Court

Last week, the outgoing chief justice of the Federal Court, James Allsop joined plenty of other former Judges concluding after many years on the bench that "litigation is the failure end of the law." He went on to say that "litigation drives people slightly mad, affecting their judgement, " and in relation to the lawyers amongst it all, he reflected that "some lawyers are successful because they never go to court - and that a lot of lawyers don't understand that."
