As the offering, God is pleased to accept us just like we are, sinful and both proud and ashamed of it. However, He transforms us. One of the ways He does that is when He transforms our faults into grace, which he freely bestows on us.

Being the offering is the best place to get a first-hand view into the transforming power of God.
