The English Book Depot was selected for the Best Book Store Award. One hundred years and going strong, the bookshop keeps reinventing itself to be relevant with the times. The Book Shop opened in 1923 at Ferozepur on the Indo-Pak border; in 1948, the family moved to Dehradun to set up the iconic bookstore in the city's heart, and the cafe was added in 2002.
