Today in the Slovak lesson you will review some verbs and learn more about the Slovak future tense (budúci čas). You will also learn how to say “We will study hard” in Slovak. At the end of my episode, you will practice some sentences in future tense. This is Bonus episode 1 of the third season.

In the last episode, I told you about the Epiphany and the customs and traditions on the Three Kings Holiday in Slovakia. Today I’m starting with the bonus episodes so, this is Bonus episode 1 of the third season. In the Slovak lesson you will review some verbs and learn more about the Slovak future tense (budúci čas). You will also learn how to say “We will study hard” in Slovak. At the end of my episode, you will practice some sentences in future tense.

Slovak lesson
1.     to study (študovať)
2.     to stay up late at night (ponocovať / byt dlho do noci hore)
3.     to eat healthy (stravovať sa zdravo)
4.     to clean up (upratovať)
5.     to do homework (robiť úlohy)
6.     to copy assignments (opisovať zadania)
7.     to communicate (komunikovať)

Sentences: New year’s resolutions for unspecified students.
1.     Budeme usilovne študovať. (We will study hard.)
2.     Nebudeme ponocovať. /byt dlho do noci hore. ( We will not stay up late at night.)
3.     Budeme chodiť spať o jedenástej (hodine). (We will go to sleep at eleven (o'clock).
4.     Budeme sa zdravo stravovať. (We will eat healthy.)
5.     Nebudeme jesť nezdravé jedlo. (We will not eat junk food.)
6.     Budeme si pravidelne upratovať izby. (We will clean our rooms regularly.)
7.     Nebudeme leniví.( We will not be lazy.)
8.     Budeme si robiť úlohy načas. (We will do our homework on time.)
9.     Nebudeme opisovať zadania. (We will not copy the assignments.)
10. Budeme viac komunikovať s rodičmi. (We will communicate more with parents.)
