ASKING QUESTIONS WITH "DO YOU MIND..." (PART 1)

HAPPY 60TH INDEPENDENCE DAY NIGERIA. 'Do You Mind...' means 'do you have any problem with or does it bother you.'
We ask questions with 'Do You Mind...' when:
1. we want to ask someone to do something for us:
Do you mind shutting the door?
Do you mind helping me in the kitchen?

2. we want to ask permission to do something: Do you mind me shutting the door?

3. we want to ask permission for a third person to do something for us: Do you mind Stella helping me out in the kitchen?
