Together, we’ll unpack what surrender really means and why it’s the key to unlocking your God-given purpose.
In this episode of Leaps of Faith, I share my own story of walking away and how letting go of my plan released the greater purpose God had for me. We’ll talk about the addictions we don’t always name: worry, control, busyness, people-pleasing, and how the enemy uses them to distract us from what really matters.
You’ll hear why being a Christian isn’t about asking God to fight our battles for us; it’s about handing Him the keys and letting Him fight His battles through us. This is where peace, freedom, and purpose are found.
Whether you’re holding on to your family, your business, or your future plans, this episode will help you release control, silence the enemy’s distractions, and step boldly into the purpose God has for you.

Reflection & Action Steps
- Identify your distractions. Write down the “addictions” or areas where you’re clinging to control and ask God to show you what needs surrender.
- Release shared control. Be honest with yourself, where are you still pressing the gas while asking Jesus to steer? Hand Him the full keys.
- Declare truth out loud. Remind yourself daily: “My surrender will release my purpose. The reward of obedience always outweighs the requirement.”
