This is a song I wrote years ago.

It started as a poem.. then in became a song.

I wanted to capture the joy of seeing my new baby's face connecting with my darling wife's face..

Good morning Daddy, isn't it a beautiful day ?

Aren't we going to have a great day together

Daddy ?

Play with me Daddy, just let me be near you,

watch you

do the things you do.

I learn so much just watching you Daddy. And when you pick me up

I feel so safe, so protected, so loved.

Daddy, I love you.

And what about the joy of watching your wife and your baby together ?

The love they have for each other, when their faces are only inches apart when her eyes and the babies eyes are locked in a bond that no man can break. When they talk to each other in a language which overflows with love.

You can just feel the power of it in the air.

It brings tears to your eyes and a surge of pride and joy from deep inside your belly.

It happens every day, and it never ceases to amaze me.

This my friend, is life.
