JT McCormick’s success is living proof that anyone can achieve the entrepreneurial dream. Born to a struggling, single mother and a drug dealer father, JT persevered and beat the odds through determination, positivity and a drive to never quit learning. Today, JT is the President and CEO of Scribe Media, a publishing company that helps anyone write, publish and market their book. Scribe has worked with more than a thousand authors and Entrepreneur Magazine recently ranked them as having a Top Company Culture in America.
JT is also the author of I Got There: How I Overcame Racism, Poverty, and Abuse to Achieve the American Dream, where he tells his inspiring story. JT also mentors at-risk youth in the juvenile justice system, as well as youth in low economic communities.
JT’s work has been featured on CNBC, Entrepreneur, Forbes, Inc. and many others. He lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife and their four children.
