“What’s the point?”
- Paul Eisen
What’s an example of an online system, process or tool you’ve used that has caused you frustration? Perhaps it was a bank machine, or an online purchase website, or a work process with a million hand-offs and approvals. Chances are, my guest did not work on the User Experience (UX) design aspect of those projects!
My guest is Paul Eisen, a User Experience expert and consultant. He holds a Doctorate degree in Human Factors and many years of broad practitioner experience. After honing his skills in various companies including IBM, CIBC and one of the Big 4 Consulting firms, Paul now consults with various clients to help them transform their customer and user experiences.
In this episode of Talent Management Truths, you’ll discover:
🍏 What the learning and development world can learn from UX principles
🍏 A fresh take on how training should support performance vs. compensate for a poor process or tool design
🍏 The power of the question “What’s the point?”
