050: Mira Simon: College & Career Planning For High School Students

Mira Simon is an educational consultant and coach who specializes in helping High School Students navigate the college planning, preparation and application process without getting overwhelmed.

After many years in radio broadcast sales, Mira discovered her passion for coaching and helping people discover their purpose and develop their vision for the future. 

During this interview, Mira describes the process she went through to get certified as a coach, begin using her coaching skills in her current position, and then transition to a full time sustainable coaching business. 

She points out the obstacles and considerations to be aware of if you're looking to become a coach and launch out on your own as an entrepreneur.  She also outlines the questions for anyone to ask when choosing a new career path, which are very similar to the questions she now asks high school students in selecting their career preference and the right path forward for them.
