In this podcast Jeffrey Benz, Sports Lawyer, CAS Arbitrator and former General Counsel for the US Olympic Committee, shares his experience on being involved with some of the highest profile anti-doping cases of the last 12 months.

This podcast covers topics such as the future of anti-doping including Jeff’s views on the newly implemented CAS Anti-Doping Division, and whether more training is required for arbitrators and counsel for anti-doping involved in anti-doping cases.

Jeff also addresses the question of whether there should be a mandatory online education program for anti-doping which athletes have to do in conjunction with in person training, comparable to how World Rugby operates?

At the end of the podcast, Jeff provides helpful insight into how evidence is and should be presented at CAS, and the growing role of non-analytical evidence in doping and corruption cases.

For reference, here is the link to the Bruyneel decision, which Jeff refers to towards the end of the podcast: http://www.usada.org/wp-content/uploads/aaa42214.pdf
