26. Becoming An Expert At Loving Yourself with LeAnn Austin

Loving yourself can seem like a selfish thing to do, but in actuality it is the most selfless thing because when you love yourself you allow yourself to love others more fully and completely.

A mistake so many people make is that they believe that in order to be loveable, or to love themselves, they must be perfect and have all the desired traits and qualities they are striving for. But if we look to Heavenly Father and the Savior as examples of loving us, they love us exactly where we are. They are not withholding love until we reach a certain level or meet specific criteria. Their love for us is always and never ending, the same should be true for how we love ourselves.
