S02e85 is here! We’re trying something a little different this week, where we play songs from a slew of Montreal artists - mainly of the rap variety - and give our reactions. Hope you like it, it might become a regular thing. They kick things off with some music and subsequent music talk before Brittain tells a dog’s tale. They talk the good and the bad of rapping in one’s second language before discussing the reality of the critique and toeing the line of being honest and being mean. They cover more songs before hitting Top of the Hour to answer some audience queries. To close things out, they discuss the Montreal sound, whether it even has one, and who it represents before Mike reads off some of our most recent 5 star (you read that right) reviews. Lasers!
