For example, we can build holy objects and offer Dharma books and teachings to others, which helps them purify mistakes, create merit, and dispel ignorance. About the benefits of taking ultimate refuge in Buddha, one won’t be reborn in the lower realms and by taking strong refuge in Buddha, one’s heavy negative karmas get purified.
