Kira Austin-Young

In this episode, Kim Baldwin sits down with Kira Austin-Young, Priest-in-Charge at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church and contract chaplain at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. A graduate of Vanderbilt University (MDiv) and Rice University (BMus), Kira has been a priest for 8 years. But, sheâ€s not a regular priest; sheâ€s a cool priest. Kira has a life-sized skeleton with its own Instagram account and a fiance who puts googly eyes on her refrigerator snacks. In 2017, Kira wrote a book titled, Pro-Choice and Christian: Reconciling Faith, Politics, and Justice.
