Campus Voices - Gen. Craig Strong, Adjutant General, Nebraska Military Department

Brigadier General Craig Strong is the 34th Adjutant General of the Nebraska Military Department, which includes the Air National Guard, Army National Guard and the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency. A fifth-generation Nebraskan whose military service spans nearly 40 years, Gen. Strong holds three degrees from the University of Nebraska. He served several tours overseas including two in Iraq before transitioning to the Pentagon as a senior policy analyst working on counternarcotics and global threats. He returned to his home state in July of 2023 to head the Nebraska Military Department. He visited Campus Voices to discuss his Nebraska roots, his military career and his pride in returning home.
