Joy is deeper than happiness

Joy is deeper than happiness; more enduring. Joy isn’t the absence of sadness or worry. And though it’s found within, it doesn’t come from within. It comes from the love of God within. The Incarnation isn’t just something that happened 2000 years ago. Christ continues to come to us: in His word, in the Eucharist, in the events of our lives.
