In this episode, Lawrence is joined by Evie Osbon, a writer, director and producer of theatre projects seeking to tell stories of misrepresented or underserved communities.
As the founder of Mind Out Theatre, they have been able to instil a social ethos into the core of their production approach, as demonstrated in productions such as Think, The Ladies' Loo Chronicles and Conversations with Ed, which each seek to spark conversations around societal issues.
Evie discusses their attraction to theatre as a vehicle for driving social change, and their development journey as a theatre maker through collaborative experimentation. They also share some of their top tips for other up-and-coming theatre makers who might just be starting out.
