Balaam, Prophet For Hire (Numbers 22:1-21)

Balak wanted to curse Israel, so he brought in a ringer, a prophet for hire. Balaam quickly found out that Israel was not like the other nations because its God cannot be manipulated by human divination. May we understand that God is often working for our good in the background, off scene, in ways that we will never know.
