Tim Johnson is an American animation director known for films like Antz (1998), Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003), Over the Hedge (2006), and Home (2015). A Northwestern University graduate, he began his career in computer animation at Post Effects and later joined Pacific Data Images (PDI), where he co-founded the Character Animation Group. Johnson has played a key role in advancing CGI animation in mainstream film, also serving as executive producer on projects like How to Train Your Dragon.
