Drawing from Serbian folk traditions and collaborating with local musicians and orchestras, he shaped a hauntingly authentic soundtrack that elevates the film’s emotional depth. Discover how music became a vital storytelling force, carrying the weight of grief, humanity, and resilience through every note.

David Robbins is a visual artist, writer, and thinker known for blending contemporary art with pop culture. He rose to prominence with his 1986 photo series Talent, which humorously portrayed young artists as celebrities. Robbins coined the term “High Entertainment” to describe work that merges experimental art with accessible entertainment. He’s also the author of Concrete Comedy and has exhibited internationally, including at MoMA and the Pompidou. Based in Milwaukee, he continues to explore the intersection of art, media, and culture.
