Today, my guest is cinematographer Glen Keenan, who worked on Star Trek: Section 31.  In this engaging interview, Glenn shares his journey from art school to becoming a sought-after director of photography, offering insights into his creative process, lens selection, lighting techniques, and the challenges of crafting visually stunning narratives. 

Glen Keenan is a Canadian cinematographer, who worked as Director of Photography on Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Short Treks, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. He photographed the odd-numbered episodes of Discovery's first season (starting with the fifth episode, "Choose Your Pain"), the odd-numbered episodes of the second season, and the odd-numbered episodes of the third season. He also worked on two episodes of Star Trek: Short Treks and five episodes of the first season of Strange New Worlds.

In 2024, he was nominated for an ASC Award for "Episode of a One-Hour Regular Series", for SNW: "Hegemony".
