Most people know Kira Roessler from her time as the bass player for Black Flag, but they may not know much about her time after leaving the band. In this episode we talk to Kira about completing her college degree while touring the country with Black Flag, her initial career working in computers and how a chance meeting led to the dialogue editing for films and television that has led to an Oscar and multiple Emmys for her and her team. Direct and engaging, Kira’s punk rock attitude is still driving her in her career and influencing her projects, including an upcoming solo record that we can’t wait to hear.
