Alan Carroll is a bank manager in Bank of Ireland with almost 20 years’ experience in finance and banking. He is both a chartered and professional banker from University College Dublin and offers a wealth of knowledge in personal finance and financial planning.
We discuss all things personal finance from creating a savings strategy and understanding cashflows to designing an investment approach that suits your risk appetite. We take a look into the mortgage approval process, particularly from a buy to let perspective and if this is a viable option to create an alternative source of income. Lastly, Alan provides his thoughts on strategies SMEs can use to respond to COVID-19 and his economic outlook for 2021.
