Kerusso Daily Devotional - My Lifeguard Walks on Water

On Today’s episode of the Kerusso Daily Devotional, we talk about learning who our Rescuer is when life threatens to swamp us.

Matthew 14:29 says, “’Come,’ he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.”

In one of those perfect metaphors the Bible is known for, we know that God rescues us from troubles that flood in; Jesus pulled Peter from the waves when he began to sink. But Peter learned to keep his eyes on Jesus, and that is a lesson for all of us.
