Kerusso Dailiy Devotional - Forgiveness [1 of 5]: What Does the Bible Say About Forgiveness?

On Today’s episode of the Kerusso Daily Devotional, we talk about what the Bible has to save about forgiveness. Matthew 5:43-45 says, “You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven.” Although it can be difficult and painful, God has made it clear in His Word that we are to forgive, so that we can be forgiven. While we can’t control others’ behavior, we can let go of bitterness. It’s a choice.
