From Veterinarian to Pro Rock Climber to Mother

Heather Weidner grew up in Las Vegas, NV. After five years as a veterinarian and weekend warrior, she finally realized that what she really wanted to be doing was rock climbing. Heather is a perfect mix of gentle and fierce: as sweet as can be with people and animals – always smiling – but relentless on the wall. She’s climbed up to 14b sport (Stockboy’s Revenge) and 14a R trad (China Doll). This episode lies very close to my heart, because it was recorded only three days before her son Dallas Dean Weidner was born.
