What It Means to Be Free In Christ

Society has its own definition of freedom but God's perspective is much different. What kind of message are we as wives, moms, and difference makers sharing with those around us? Do we know what our freedoms are in Christ?

Here are some key scriptures we referenced to help us understand our freedom:

• John 8:34, 36 -we used to be slaves to sin but we are now free because of Christ.


• Matthew 4:1-11 - Jesus models how we are to use our freedom to resist Satan and call him out on his lies.


• Genesis 3 - God models how because of Him, we have the freedom to practice grace.


• Joshua 2 - God gives grace to Rahab.


• Daniel 6 - God gives grace to Daniel.


• Romans 8:1 - We are free from condemnation.

Questions to ponder/journal:

• How will we live in freedom daily?


• How will we teach our children to do the same?


• How will we build a marriage and/or business that reflects our freedom in Christ?
