With a win against Antrim under their belt, Kilkenny hosted Tipperary in the second round of the Allianz Hurling League.
It’s manager Derek Lyng’s first competitive fixture at UPMC Nowlan Park against a side that always brings a championship flavor to proceedings when they’re in Kilkenny.
