Football: Éire Óg v Bagenalstown Gaels, Carlow SFC Round 1 (19/08/2022)

Our first-bit coverage of the 2022 Carlow senior football championship began with the meeting of Éire Óg and Bagenalstown Gaels.

Beginning the double-header for the opening night games,  Bagenalstown Gaels looked to go that one step better from last year’s semi-finals. They had to get through last year’s beaten finalists first, however.
