Canvas for ChatGPT | OpenAI

OpenAI has introduced a new " Canvas " feature for its ChatGPT platform. This feature allows users to collaborate more effectively with ChatGPT on writing and coding projects than traditional chat. Canvas provides a dedicated window where users can directly edit and revise their work, while ChatGPT provides inline feedback and suggestions based on the entire project context. 

Canvas also includes helpful shortcuts for tasks like adjusting writing length, debugging code, and adding comments. The company has trained GPT-4o to collaborate more effectively, explicitly focusing on targeted edits, rewriting documents, and providing precise feedback. Canvas is currently in early beta for ChatGPT Plus and Team users, and it will be rolled out to other users.
