How a Wife's Alleged Affair and Murder Plot was Exposed

On a winter evening in Evansville, Indiana a hard-working firefighter, husband and father returned home to his wife after yet another long day. As the 51 year-old approached his front door, he was struck from behind by multiple gunshots. Moments later, his wife came rushing from the home, calling 911 in a panic. She had been standing inside making dinner by the kitchen window. A window only feet from the driveway where her husband was gunned down. But she claimed not to have seen anything. She told detectives at the scene: “I didn’t intend for any of this to happen.”
