Jim Jordan - House Speaker or Trump Co-Defendant?

The New York Times reported: "Trump said to have revealed nuclear submarine secrets to Australian businessman." Defendant Trump is on pretrial release in four felony cases: two state and two federal. If the law was applied as intended, Trump would be in a jail cell, detained pending trial. But he's not. Instead, he's ruminating about perhaps being the next Speaker of the House of Representative. Glenn Asks "What's wrong with this picture?" The answer - "Everything". Then, as the January 6th select House committee's report has found: Jim Jordan was "a significant player in Trump's efforts" to overturn the 2020 presidential election. A new piece by Sirius XM host Dean Obeidallah highlights some of the key findings of the Jan. 6th committee's report about Jordan's complicity in Trump's insurrection. Dean persuasively argues that, rather than announcing he's running for speaker of the House of Representatives, the only thing Jordan should be announcing is how he pleads "in response to criminal charges for being part of Donald Trump's illegal effort to overturn the 2020 election."
