On this episode I have California based trekker, musician + songwriter, Men's life coach, founder of Better To Greater, and ultra trail runner, Devon Kelts, join me on the show. We talk about the differences between NorCal and SoCal, his top trail running experiences (Marin Ultra Challenge, Bishop 100k, etc), The Bad Water Basin Race (World's Toughest Race), overcoming addiction & achieving sobriety, his transition from starting a band & becoming a songwriter to becoming a purpose driven coach, the importance of growth mindset, how trail running has enriched his overall life, and the one outdoor experience he would re-live all over again. Devon is a longtime friend from my college days who was even apart of my breakdancing crew and has been a mentor of sorts at different points in my life. He is one of the most intelligent and well spoken individuals I know and is a major inspiration to others to become the best versions of themselves they can be.
