EP15 : Why are brits obsessed with tea?

Welcome back! We are Just Japanglish hosted by Cliff, a guy from the UK and Yutaro, a guy from Japan. Yutaro brought up a slightly tricky question this time : Why are Brits so obsessed with tea?

Are they really obsessed with it though? When people think of the UK, afternoon tea is usually one of the things that pops into people’s mind. When people visit the UK, tea is usually one of the souvenirs you would buy. Although Cliff may not hold the true answer to the question, there are a few everyday life aspects and facts related to tea in the UK which we will mention.

PS. Cliff does prefer tea over coffee, likes it with a ‘splash’ of milk until it is close to the colour of caramel.
