Welcome to episode 32 of #JustHavinaCrack. In this episode, we speak to Olympic Bronze Medalist and legendary swimmer Julie McDonald.

From an early age, Julie wanted to swim. She wanted to just have a go. In her mother's words " If you want to do it we will support you, but you have to get yourself up"

Commonwealth games, Panpac's and Olympic's Julie competed against the worlds best, like American Janet Evans and British swimmer Sara Hardcastle. The Eastern block nations and their doping scandals were rife. 

Julie wouldn't swap her Olympic Bronze for anything.

In fact, the times Julie swum, she would win gold in today's meets.
