Just Chill with Oliver George #91 - Fiona O’Brien

Join Oliver as he chills with Irish comedian Fiona O'Brien! Since relocating with her family to Canada in 2012, Fiona has been harnessing her craft to become the endlessly entertaining comic that she is today. She has performed at noteworthy events like the Halifax Comedy Festival and had her work featured on networks like CBC and Sirius XM. Fiona's humour has also garnered her a very impressive following on TikTok and her hilarious album 'Magically Malicious' is available now!

This episode kicks off with Fiona describing her experience emigrating to the Great White North, and how that (coupled with a divorce) ultimately lead her to pursue getting into standup. Oliver gets in touch with his Irish roots, as Fiona explains the origins of St. Paddy's Day and fields a bunch of other inquiries about the Emerald Isle. In addition to their Irish connection, Fiona and Oliver bond over the often confusing, sometimes frustrating process of raising teenagers. Later on, Fiona recounts the time that she met Adam Sandler and also shares a wild story about almost dying on her way to perform comedy at a swingers club!
