Allaer drives the No. 11 car for HMD Motorsports in the INDY NXT by Firestone series and he will
compete in his second consecutive Detroit Grand Prix this summer, May 30-June 1st. Born in the Detroit area, Allaer is the only Michigan-born driver that will compete in this year’s
Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear. Coming into his hometown race, Allaer received local sponsorship from National Coney Island
and Faygo to give back to the Detroit community, highlighting iconic local businesses and
showcasing them during the Detroit Grand Prix
