In episode 86, we continue our interview from last week (episode 85) with our brother from another mother, ‘Dr. Jay’  Mayo. 

In episode 85 Jay explained what EMDR therapy is, but we left you hanging when he began telling his personal experience as a patient of EMDR. In today’s episode, Jay finishes telling his story with EMDR - and he takes us into the weeds - as we say in the South - by explaining in detail how this therapeutic method was used to help him deal with deep-seated trauma. EMDR is a fascinating therapy technique that helps people to process traumatic memories and begin to heal. After hearing Jay’s story, you’ll be in a race to find a counselor who uses this method in their therapy practice!
