Danielle Bensky, joined by Jane Doe 3, has brought a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against Darren K. Indyke (Epstein's longtime lawyer) and Richard D. Kahn (his accountant), who were appointed co-executors of his estate. The plaintiffs accuse them of playing a central role in facilitating Epstein’s sex-trafficking operation—alleging that Indyke and Kahn managed the money flowing to recruit, coerce, and pay victims, structured cash withdrawals to avoid raising red flags, and handled critical financial infrastructures like the “Butterfly Trust.” These services, the complaint asserts, kept Epstein’s criminal enterprise functioning for years.

In response, Indyke and Kahn filed motions to dismiss. In August 2024, Judge Arun Subramanian granted their motion in part—removing Danielle Bensky from the docket—and allowed Jane Doe 3’s claims to continue. While Bensky’s individual case was terminated, Jane Doe 3 may still pursue her claims and seek class-action certification at the appropriate time. The court's decision clears notable procedural hurdles for the case to move forward.
