For many of us, there are few things more nerve-wracking than rocking up on a first date. Even the most confident people among us get the jitters, with some finding the experience so stress-inducing they avoid it entirely.

And while the prospect of sitting across from a stranger is always going to be a bit intimidating, it's arguably worth the effort if you're looking to meet someone you click with.
